University or vocational training - an important decision for your career.
A university degree gives you the theoretical foundation knowledge and qualifies you for specialist and managerial positions. With vocational training you learn from day one what's important in everyday working life. By studying at a vocational academy you can combine the best of both training options. With a combined timetable of theory and practice you have the direct opportunity to compare theoretical knowledge with the situation in practice. The comparatively short length of study is off-set by a heavy workload during the theory phases (an average of 40 hours per week) and no semester breaks.
