Metro Group, Germany's largest retailing company, has been modernizing and expanding its headquarters in Düsseldorf-Grafenberg since 1995. Bilfinger Berger is carrying out the entire development, design and turnkey construction.
The most recent project, the "Metro Stadtkante", involves two buildings. In addition to offices and exhibition space used as showrooms by the Group's purchasing department, the Metro Stadkante includes an arcade with a supermarket and other stores.
